Every child is different. We take a gentle, patient approach and keep the environment calm and welcoming, so children can build good experiences of dental care from an early age.
Parents are encouraged to ask questions, and we involve children in learning about looking after their teeth in a way that suits their age.
Bulk billing for CDBS-eligible children
Children eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) under Medicare are bulk billed at Mydental. Contact us if you’re unsure whether your child is eligible.

Fissure sealants
A protective coating that may be recommended for suitable children to help protect the chewing surfaces of back teeth from decay.
Fillings
If decay is found, a filling may be recommended to restore the tooth.
Growth and development monitoring
We keep an eye on how teeth and jaws are developing and let you know if further assessment is needed.
Happy gas (relative analgesia)
For children who feel anxious, happy gas can help them relax during treatment. It’s a mild option that wears off quickly.
